Barbara and I have decided to offer our 1989 PT40 for sale. We have
owned this coach for over four years. It is our second Wanderlodge
and about seventh motorhome(took us a while to learn). This is a
475HP 8V92 powered coach with all of the usual options. There is
133,000 miles on the coach. It has been maintained pretty much
without regard to expense. All new Michlens and roof airs(one went
out so I replaced them all). The coach is blue and silver, walkthru
bath, queen island bed,Washer/dryer, booth dinette, etc. We are
asking $97500 for the coach but are open to a reasonable offer. Many
members of the Lone Star Birds(Ralph, Ernie, Ron, Mike, ETC) have seen
this coach and can tell you of its condition. It is the most
troublefree coach we have ever owned. I would have no problem selling
this coach to my best friend. The only reason we are considering
selling this coach is a lack of time to use it over the next several
years. I fully intend to buy another coach. This is the only for
sale notice that we have posted so far. I wanted to give the forum
members the first shot at the coach. I will email photos to anyone
who is interested and can be reached at 254-913-1176. Thanks, Mike
McMahan

The individual that bought my 89 PT 40 lives in Canada. He has called
and is trying to winterize the coach. Everything is working as it is
supposed to except that no water or air will come out of the hot water
side of the water system. Is there a sporlan valve on the inlet side
of the water heater that could be stuck preventing water or air from
passing thru the hot water heater. He has all the schematics and the
coach so I don't have anything to look at. Thanks, Mike McMahan
Birdless until Friday 254-913-1176

Mike:

The 3 way valve at the bottom of the water heater input piping is stuck or
the air at the regulator going to the 3 way valve is faulty or turned off
or the power is missing going to the coil of the 3 way valve.

Safe travels,

Ralph, Thanks for the quick info. I will send the info to him. I
also gave him your phone number, bluebirds tech number, and the forum
address. Hope to see you and Charlette at the Christmas Rally.
Thanks again, Mike Mcmahan
