I was contacted by a local high end RV repair facility that I have used. They had a person come in wanting to unload an inherited 1983 FC in/around Bandera, Texas. They said it has about 46,000 miles on it.

Pictures that the new owner sent are fairly nice. Looks like a time capsule piece inside. They are asking $10k. That's about all I know right now. I have their contact info, but do not have permission to post that on the internet just yet. If anyone is interested I can hook you up with them offline.

Any interest out there?
Hi Mike, would definitely like to see the pics. Can you forward those?
Griffinley,
I grabbed your email address that you signed up with and sent you two emails. Let me know if you get them and if you want the owner’s info which I forgot to add. Sorry about that! BTW, I have a call into them to ask questions, so if you have some, let me know and I’ll add them to the list.
Thanks, Mike ! I responded back to your email.
Mike I would be interested in seeing pictures of the unit
Here’s some of the info I gave Peterbilt.

This one is definitely a project. I finally talked to the owner over the weekend, and they asked that I keep the contact info off the internet. That’s why I am sending the info offline.

She inherited it (2008 I think?), they put new tires and batteries on it, drove it 1200 miles home, parked it and have never used it! It has about 46,000 miles on it. She said her husband was starting it and moving it back and forth every month until about 4 years ago. So, translated, it hasn’t been started or moved in 4 years. Generator tray came out and then they didn’t know how to get it back in so hubby threw a tire inner tube over it.

I told her based on the above, I’m not sure she’s going to get $10k for it. It’s going to need batteries, tires, filters, marker lights and some work just to get it out of the yard. She said she just needs it gone.

Someone with a sense of adventure and some mechanical skills will get a steal.
Based on the above, it looks really pretty good on the inside but it needs lots of cleaning.

FWIW.
Hello everyone,

Are there any pictures of the unit someone can share?

Ralph
Emailed the pictures I had received to you. I have no idea what the status on this unit is at this time.
Before I get any more inquiries, I should mention that this unit did sell to one of the folks above several months ago.
