My turbo boost guage isn't working. It worked during my recent trip
from Cincinnat to Orland area, but was not working when I picked it up
to take it to Detroit Deisel Allison. The guage is operated by a line
or hose that runs from the turbo to the guage. FLDDA says it
is "probably" a brake in the hose, but they can't say where.

Any ideas as to where this hose runs and how to diagnose?

Mine quit working once when the tiny little hose came in contact with a hot
exhaust part and melted a hole in it. Look in the most likely place: where
FLDDA was working! There's an obvious place where this boost line attaches
on the engine (I don't remember where, just that it was obvious).

My turbo boost guage line is on top of the engine and it is very thin
tubing. When my turbo boost guage stopped working I got to it easily
by way of the access below the bed. Like Dennis, I found a small hole
in the tubing near the fitting that connects the tubing to the
engine.
There was enough slack in the tubing for me to cut off the damaged
portion and reconnect it. Look for thin tubing near the top of the
engine connected with a compression fitting. Good luck.
