I came across a set of jack stands that seem to be an innovative, simple mechanical, sturdy, good design. Visiting the site, it seems that the inventor is not forthcoming with order information and price. My post here may be one of the objectives of the marketing strategy but here it is. I have a link below of a review on the jacks found while looking for a price. at 520. this would be a good item for a tract home garage

Good idea, but if you need to work on the brakes, or suspension? For that kind of money, I can buy a portable hydraulic lift.
